The 2012 Tournament will be held on 9th March at the National course, Abu Dhabi Golf Club

Dear Potential Sponsor,

It is my pleasure to invite you to be a sponsor of the 2012 Abu Dhabi Oilman’s Golf Tournament which will be held on Friday 9th March, 2012 at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club, followed by a reception and gala dinner in the evening at the Fairmont Hotel, Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi.

As in previous years, we will do our utmost to make this year’s event the most memorable and enjoyable yet. Your sponsorship is essential for us to achieve this, since we can only spend what we receive. Your generosity and support make the Oilmen's tournament the unique event that it is today and we look forward to your participation.

I enclose application forms for Platinum, Gold and Silver category sponsorship. These forms contain details of the sponsors’ packages available in each category. There is a limit of the number of Platinum and Gold sponsorships available so I encourage you to commit as soon as possible in order to avoid any disappointment. Please select your required level of sponsorship and send the completed application form, together with a cheque, to the treasurer Mr James Shepherd, at the address provided on the form. Please also note there is no increase in the cost of sponsorship from 2011.

Since we are required to make several early commitments and pay deposits (for example; ADGC, Hotel gala dinner, order “giveaways”, etc), I would kindly ask you to complete and send in your sponsorship forms and cheques before 10th November, 2011. It would also be very helpful for the committee that in the event you decide not to sponsor the event this year, you kindly advise us.

Please take note of the following:

• The receptions and gala dinner will take place in the evening following the competition, at the Fairmont Bar Al Bahr Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Some rooms will be reserved and will be offered at a special rate for the weekend.
• We promise not to bring back the “comedian” at last year’s gala dinner!
• The tournament format will be as in the past few years, a 4 player team event, with the best 3 stableford scores on each hole being used to determine the 18 hole team total.
• Hole Prizes will be awarded on every hole, for both morning and afternoon sessions.
• On course food, beverages and other delights will be available
